Junior athletes at Poole AC

Wheelchair Chris features in London!

Poole AC wheelchair athlete Christopher Nash competed in the London Big Half-Marathon last Sunday (March 4th) This was his first time in such a prestigious event. He finished 8th overall and was the 4th GB finisher!

His time was a new PB of 65-41.

Adam set another new Hurdles PB!

Competing in the National age-group Indoor Championships in Sheffield on Feb. 25th, u17M Adam Booth set a new PB for the 60m. Hurdles of 8.72. This beat his previous best of 8.92 set in January.

Such performances bode well for the 2018 outdoor season.

Teams for Torbay Regional Sportshall.

This Regional Sportshall competition was meant to be staged at the Paignton Leisure Centre last Saturday, but the weather caused it to be postponed to next Saturday, March 10th. It is hoped that all the PAC athletes selected to compete for Dorset will be available and fit by then. Teams as selected:-

REMINDERS:-

(a) PAC Saturday MORNING training starts with registration from 10.15 am. this Saturday, March 10th Finishes at 12.15 pm. Double session.

(b) Entries for the Bournemouth AC Open (for u11s – Seniors) close on MARCH 15th You can enter on-line at their site.

(c) After that our first League match is the first Wessex YAL at King’s Park on Sunday, April 8th BE READY!

(d) Remember our Sport Relief Mile at Ashdown from 10 am. (youngest runners) on Sunday, March 18th £2 to charity.
