Biker Lindsay Chapman in Invictus Games!

Para-biker Lindsay will be at the Opening of the Invictus Games in Toronto next Saturday, Sept. 23rd. She will compete in the 100m., 200m., and 1500m.

Congratulations to her and to the inspiring team with which she will travel.

Many PBs by Quadkids at rainy BAC Open!

Harley Tayor set a new Club Record total in placing 3rd in the BAC QK competition on Sept. 10. His was one of 17 PBs in the squally, wet conditions. In older age-groups PAC athletes gained 13 medals, with 4 winners. Best was Cameron Cooke with three throws victories.

PAC News No. 35 (2017) EXTRA. PAC Champs.2

Two represented Dorset in SEAA u15 Champs.

George Crouch and Ashia Wilson competed for Dorset in the SEAA Inter-Counties u15 Championships at Oxford on Sept. 10. George finished 8th in the 100m Final having =PB with 11.80 in the Heat. Ashia finished 7th in the 1500m in 4-58.05. Congratulations to them for this achievement.

PAC Club Championships Part 2 on Sept. 16th.

We just missed the rain and had a well-supported competition.

If you have not already noticed, please see the FOUR new Club Records set by the u10s (3) and u11s (1). You can judge how many members rose to the occasion (a) by trying new events; and (b) by setting many PBs. It is by encouraging these that we find we can sometimes gain extra and unusual points in matches.

Thanks again to all athletes, parents and friends who helped to create a supportive atmosphere, and to all the officials and support staff.

And finally from Yeovil Games on Sept. 10.

Only three PAC athletes attended but between them they produced four PBs, of which one in particular could have future significance (PV) and another could stir ambition (LJ) !
