SUMMARY:Blackmore Vale Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Blackmore Vale half marathon has been a regular fixture in the race calendar for over 20 years. The charity event is organised by the Blackmore Vale Lions club who support several local charities with the race proceeds. The tough course meanders through the Dorset countryside. The race is known as the half with the ‘famous finish’ because the last mile is somewhat challenging! The start /finish make this event unsuitable for wheelchair users. \nNo earphones of any description allowed. \nPart of the Dorset Road Race League\, you MUST wear your black & gold Poole AC colours for this race.

DESCRIPTION:The Wessex League is open to all athletes from school year 4\, up to those who are Under 20’s. The age group categories are broken down as follows: \n\nUnder 11 – School Year 4 & 5\nUnder 13 – School Year 6 & 7\nUnder 15 – School Year 8 & 9\nUnder 17 – School Year 10 & 11\n\nFurther details concerning the league can be found at  www.wessexleaguetandf.co.uk. We can enter at least 5 athletes in each Track event. We need to submit a team declaration in advance therefore if you wish to compete in this event please contact a T&F coach. All athletes require a Poole AC vest or T shirt.
