DESCRIPTION:The Lytchett 10 is a ten mile road race starting at Lytchett Minster Sports Centre\, Post Green Rd\, Lytchett Minster\, Poole\, Dorset BH16 6JD (See map below). The course is hilly and entirely on road and pavements. \nThe race is open to runners aged 17 and over\, although\, unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs. Dogs\, buggies and headphones are not permitted for safety reasons. \nThis race is part of the Dorset Road Race League (DRRL)\, so you must wear your black & gold Poole AC colours to run. SUMMARY:Bournemouth Bay Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The half marathon is part of the Dorset Road Race League (DRRL) in 2026. It is essential that you wear your Poole AC black & gold tops when taking part.\nThe half marathon is also part of the 2026 Poole AC Senior Club Champs.  There is also a 10k timed run\, a 5k fun run and a kids (under 13s) 1k fun run. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Bournemouth Bay Run is in association with the British Heart Foundation. The variety of distances are all taking place against the backdrop of Bournemouth’s seven-mile stretch of golden sand and sparkling seas. We can enter at least 5 athletes in each Track event therefore there are plenty of spaces for any of our members who wish to take part at this event. We need to submit a team declaration in advance therefore if you wish to compete in this event please contact the T&F coaches. SUMMARY:Castleman Trailway Club Run
DESCRIPTION:We are organising another one of our popular social Castleman trailway runs\, with a coach pick up from Broadstone. This year there will be a choice of three coach drop off points\, to make it more inclusive to those who want a shorter distance: \n\nRingwood Ashley Heath – 12 ish miles\nTap & Railway (West Moors) – 10 ish miles\nFox & Hound (Wimborne) – 5 ish miles\n\n…then running back to Broadstone. Your run will end at the Broadstone Junction and we thought it would be nice to stay local for an after run drink too. \nIMPORTANT: The coaches will leave Upton Way\, Broadstone\, near the trees (opposite number 44) at 6:45pm sharp!! Please be mindful of residents that live there when parking\, and try to car share. The route will be marked with our arrows and Castleman signs\, so it’s sign posted but there is no tail runner – be careful of your distance. \nThis event is for Poole AC members and friends. There will be lots of different paced groups.\n£3 for members (£6 for non members)\, payment reserves place on the coach. Poole AC members should transfer your money to the usual Poole AC subs account\, reference “Castleman”.
