PAC at SEAA Road Relays – Crystal Palace
In this annual event, this year held on a testing, hilly lap course in south London on Sept. 24, PAC had four complete teams from their fifteen runners. Results:-
U13G: (3 legs) Eleanor M, Sophia H, Charlotte S. Finished 51/63 starters.
U15B: (4 legs) Josh S, Liam N, Ryan S, Alastair F. Finished 28/59 starters.
U15G: (3 legs) ‘A’ Demi-Marie G, Emilie C, Ashia W. Finished 7/81 starters.
‘B’ Issy R, Imogen D. Incomplete team. (Heidi T injured.)
U17W: (3 legs) Isabelle T, Carla S, Emily J. Finished 31/50 starters.
Thanks to the management, parents and athletes for whom this was their first road competition of the year, against the best club teams from S. England.
Wessex XC Match 1 at Limelights October 1
16 PAC juniors and 19 seniors contested the races in non-stop rain on the lap course behind Limelights. This was the first of four matches, the next being on a non-spike course at Bryanston on Oct. 22. Despite the weather, over 320 athletes ran on the day. Thanks to the athletes, parents, course builders and clearers and all who helped on Sunday – especially co-ordinator Lindsay H.
