Lexie and Emily lead the way at Limelights!
In Wessex Cross-Country League Match 1, staged on the wooded hill behind the Limelights Youth Centre on Sunday, Sept 29th, the weather was autumnal with cloud, sun, breeze and light rain showers. Underfoot, most of the recent rain had drained down the hill, leaving the course wet but not very muddy.
The advance preparations were thorough and the marshalling on the day proved totally effective. The results were published just 90 minutes after the last race!
Well done to all 42 Poole AC athletes, particularly Lexie and Emily as race winners and the U13G, U15B and U17W for winning their team rankings! A number of entrants may have been put off by the overnight weather!
