U15G just miss top 10 in National race!
At Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield on October 7th, our u15G team of Ashia W, Demi-Marie G, and Emilie C finished just outside the top ten teams in their 3-stage ERRA National road race. Two of those three were parts of the team which were the u13 National champions last year, so this was a great effort as first-year u15s! Ashia completed her leg (4k?) 16th of the 80 starters in 14-44. Demi then ran her leg in 15-49 in 21st. Emilie, in spite of a damaged wrist, pulled back to 11th, running her leg in 14-26. Only 50 complete teams finished, the winners being Blackheath and Bromley with AFD second. The quality of the opposition enhances the quality of the PAC performance!

This was an excellent initiative and we hope these and other athletes will persevere and develop their weaker skills.
Saturday training in Hurdles and LJ/TJ
We have started extra sessions on Saturdays during the winter months. We do not have enough hurdlers and triple jumpers and so miss out on possible points during our League matches. Also, unless athletes try out on different events, they may miss the chance of finding an activity where they can achieve personal success. So if you are able and willing, please report to the garage (hurdles) or HQ (LJ/TJ) at 10.45 am on Saturdays. As ever, continuous rain will cancel such sessions!
