William wins again at British Cross Challenge!
Last Saturday, U13B William Rabjohns won his 2.7 km race (out of 116 finishers) at Milton Keynes by 4 seconds in 9-12. This, in Match 2 of the annual British Cross Challenge series, repeats his similar feat in Match 1 at Cardiff last month. The series continues with Match 3 in Liverpool on Nov 25th and Match 4 in Antrim on Jan 6th. To qualify for the final match, in Loughborough on March 10th, athletes must have competed in any two of the previous four: prizes are awarded only in Match 5! Well done, Will!
Hants XC League Match 2 at Petersfield
Ben Lewis (u17M) took pride of place on Saturday, Nov. 11th in the QE Country Park by winning his race. Ashia Wilson (u15G) came third in hers; and supported by Demi Goddard (19) and Heidi Taylor (27), their team placed 4th on the day and maintains 4th ranking in the aggregate after 2 matches. 7 Juniors and 9 Seniors competed for PAC on a cool, damp day. (No SM/VM rankings available yet.)
