Lexie wins again at Hants XC 2 at Winchester!

For the u13G, Lexie Brown won again!  On a wet course and on a cool, wet day at Sparsholt College in Winchester on Saturday, Lexie won her race against 73 other runners. Another to feature was Mark Ruby by finishing 3rd (of 64) in the u15B race, leading them to a 6th team ranking. The Club had 9 seniors and 19 juniors competing in this match.  The best of our complete teams on the day was the u17W with Emily Parker leading them home in 5th (of 32).  Thanks to all the athletes, parents and management who braved the elements!

In the Senior Men’s competition, we are in Division 1 (of 3) and they need five to score. They have to rank in the top eight teams at end of season to stay there!

In the Juniors and SW, we needed three finishers to count for a team ranking.  You will notice that we fell short of this in five age-groups. Thinking ahead to summer 2020, we win as a team when we have enough athletes to fill the places available in all events.  So please think ahead to Hants Match 3 on November 30th at Aldershot.  Could your athlete(s) be available, please?
