18 intrepid souls braved the Fun Relay conditions!

As a wet and windy intro to the “main feature” 10k on Boxing Day, Poole AC organised a “Fun” two-person relay again. Despite the weather – continuous light rain gusting from the south-west in at least Force 7! – nine young runners, mostly from the host club, set off round the Cricket Field at Poole Park and on their one-mile leg. William Rabjohns, as he frequently does, led Mark Ruby* home, to hand over to his partner (drawn in advance), Leo Riggs.  They were closely followed by Oscar in his BAC mode!

The results can be found on the Round the Lakes page here, and the results from the Poole AC athletes in the 10k can be found here.

*To be fair to Mark Ruby, in the Senior Poole parkrun on December 28, Mark finished in a PB of 16-34, leading Will who followed him in 16-55 !
