Silesia Diamond League, Chernow, Poland (25th August)

Melissa Courtney-Bryant enjoyed another great night in the big time, finishing fourth in a classy 1500m in which the top seven athletes all broke four minutes. Millie clocked 3:59.55, boosting her season’s best from the 4:01.70 she posted in Loughborough while the spotlight was on Paris. This was the fifth sub-four-minute time of her career.
