Wessex Cross Country, Bryanston, 3rd November
Our teams got some fantastic results at the second Wessex XC league match. Well done to our under-11 girls – Imogen Beisley won, with Darcie Collins in third chased home by Nyah House, Ava Shadwell and Hazel Rowat, packed five runners in the top six places. The girls achieved both first and second teams.
Erin Wells was runner-up in the senior women’s race, winning her under-20 category for the second race in succession. The senior team of Erin, Rachael Haddow and Jane Neal picked up first place.
Fred Harris was a strong runner-up in the senior men’s race. Fred, Luke Terry and Robert Doubleday ensured a first place for the team, who now lead the table after two events. Charlie Collins led the under-17 men home by more than half a minute, while Theo Cobley was a strong second in the under-15s.
