British Milers’ Club Grand Prix Meeting, Watford (World Athletics Challenger) (8th June)

William Rabjohns was the fastest under-20 at the Watford meeting, posting a new club record and just missing the UK qualifying mark for the World Junior Championships as he won the men’s C race.

Southern U20/Senior Championships, Eton (8th/9th June)

Jaya Collinson achieved personal bests on successive days. She ran 64.08s to finish fifth in the South of England Under-20 400m hurdles final. She had clocked 64.60s finishing second in her heat the previous day.

Dorset Schools’ Championships, Bournemouth (8th June)

Poole AC’s athletes were competing for school districts in this competition, so apologies to anyone whose performances have been missed. The club’s medal count was: Gold: 21, Silver: 10, Bronze: 11, with our jumpers in particularly strong form.

A small squad trekked to Abingdon, but Lumen Myers was rewarded by improving her under-13 javelin record. Imogen Beisley was third, and Darcie Collins, fifth, in the Quadkids.
