A challenging and undulating trail race which takes you around the spectacular Purbecks. Held at the end of the summer.
CLUB EVENTS
The club hosts three races every year which are open to both members and non-members. The infamous Beast is now over 30 years young, Round the Lakes is for those who fancy a fast flat PB potential 10k, and May 5 is a lovely 5 mile race. And we have some Open Track and Field events which we regularly organise!

Round the Lakes
A fast and flat 10k race held around the scenic Poole park. The club holds this race annually, although some years there may be 2 races by popular demand.
May 5
The name gives it away – this is a 5 mile race which is held in May. The route starts at the Ashdown track and takes you round quiet parts of Canford Heath.
Track & Field Open Meetings
The Ashdown track is host to Poole AC’s annual John Gregory Track & Field Open event. This is usually held sometime in the Spring. Other events may be held by popular demand.
