Senior Christmas Party and Awards Night

Senior Christmas party and award presentation, held at the RNLI College in Poole. Meet in the bar 7pm for drinks, 3 course dinner served at 7.30pm.

Poole AC have kindly subsidised the meal for members and partners to £16.00 pp for the first 50 people. The awards night is fun and a great way to get together and chat to fellow runners without being out of puff. You maybe also surprised with a trophy that you weren’t expecting! It starts at 7ish, sit down for 7.30pm. We will have the awards presented by Graham and Nikki, a fun quiz, and DJ, then dance the night away until around 11.30ish.

This year if you want to sit with certain friends, then we will require a list of 10 people for your table that are committed to attend, together with their food choices. If we don’t get this, then we assume that you don’t mind where you sit, and it will be pot luck with who you sit with.

Sweet Potato, Chilli & Coconut Soup, with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds and Sage [v|vg option] Dill-cured Salmon, citrus, celeriac remoulade, elderflower dressing

Roasted Turkey with all the trimmings, apricot and cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, roasted roots, braised sprouts, bread sauce & cranberry sauce
Slow Roasted Rump of Lamb, miso fondant, roasted roots, braised sprouts, rosemary and garlic jus
Chalk Stream Trout, pan-fried, served with herbed hollandaise, roasted potatoes and heritage root veg, braised sprouts
Heritage Vegetable Pithivier (vg/cg), multi coloured carrots and beets wrapped in a puff pastry shell, red pepper emulsion
