Fantastic win in LAG 3 at home June 17!
Accumulating a brilliant 661 points at Ashdown on Sunday, Team Dorset Lower Age-Group (LAG) team won again and gave themselves a chance of overall no.1 ranking in this UKYDL South Divisional competition. Whether they were winning, doing Personal Bests or just doing their best on the day, the Poole AC athletes made a great contribution to a TEAM success. This is what they did:-

To win the Division, we need to field a strong team at Kingston and win the match, plus G and G to place third or lower. So we do our best and see!
Results from outside the Leagues
In the Hampshire Schools’ Championships at Basingstoke on June 9th, Adam Booth won the Inter Boys (u17M) 100H in 13.83, very close to his PB of 13.8. Then on June 16th at Crawley in the South-East Schools’ he placed 3rd (of 8) in 14.13 into a headwind. In the same Hampshire event (June 9th), Ludovic Rothman placed 3rd in the Senior Boys (u20) Javelin with a PB of 39.90m.
In the “Senior Wessex Schools’” at King’s Park on June 13th, Ollie Woollard placed 2nd in the u12B 100m in 14.1. This qualified him to compete in the National Finals at Birmingham on July 3rd. His sister cleared 1.15m in the u11G HJ, breaking a dated school record!
