Ashia features well in Hants. XC League!

In Match 4 of the Hamphire XC League, this time at Prospect Park, Reading, Ashia Wilson finished runner-up in the u15 Girls race and currently lies third in the individual aggregate rankings. She was supported by Charlotte Piper.

Ranked on the three best results (out of 5), the u15G team is currently 5th.

The other juniors who competed were George Mahon (u13B) and first-timer Beatrice Hamblin (u11G), both of whom had determined runs.

Both the senior women and senior men had teams compete on the day. The senior women, again ably led by Amy Bond, finished 9th out of 17 teams. The senior men (in Division 1) finished 7th out of the 10 teams and lie 8th on aggregate.

The veteran men continue to feature in the top three on aggregate, even though their team placed 13th this time.

Match 5, where all aggregate performances reach fruition, will be at Aldershot on Sat. Feb. 10th with races for u13s – Seniors.

County Sportshall certificates now available!

The 52 certificates gained by Poole Athletics athletes have now been printed and are available. To facilitate distribution, they have been placed in plastic pockets and will be taken to Tuesday training at Ashdown and also to Sportshall training on Saturdays.

PLEASE NOTE: Saturday Sportshall training will continue until the end of February and is likely to end with a Club Sports Hall competition. Other indoor diversions are under discussion.

Hurdles and LJ/TJ Training continues!​

Wednesdays: Hurdles 5.45-7.00 pm.

Saturdays: Hurdles 10.45 – 12.00.

Long/Triple Jumps 10.45 – 12.00.
