Three more u13B Club Records – amazing!

Last Wednesday, in the Hants GP Open Meeting at Basingstoke, William Rabjohns ran in a graded, mixed race and set a new u13B record of 2-10.86.

At the South-West Inter-Counties at Exeter on Sunday, July 22, two more records were broken. William Rabjohns went up a distance to 1500m and won the u13B section of a mixed race in 4-25.59. Louis Bourke, having challenged the Long Jump record earlier in the season, this time exceeded his main target of 5m winning with an excellent 5.12m.

Other Basingstoke results:-

Richard Wheeler (VM50) ran 100m in 12.70 and 400m in 64.70. Ashia Wilson and Isobel Rabjohns both ran in graded 800m races and both set PBs – of 2-21.62 and 2-28.78 respectively. Well done to them.

A depleted team had few winners but most of those who went came away with at least one PB.Thanks to all who competed for PAC in this the final Wessex match for 2018. It appears that the u11 Boys have been the best of the 24 League teams and Edwin Langley has the best u11B QuadKids score. Well done to all!  Such data will be confirmed by the League in due course.

Millie on TV in the Anniversary Games!

Melissa Courtney ran in the 3000m  at the Muller Anniversary Games in The London Stadium on Saturday (July 21), shown on BBC TV.  She placed 5th of 13 in a good PB of 8-46.33.

Team Dorset 2nd in LAG 4 (by one athlete!)

In UKYDL Match 4 at Kingston on July 21, we and others were short of a number of first-choice athletes. This produced a very close match and by the end only 3.5 points separated the first two teams! All those who were then declared for team Dorset, from all three clubs (PAC, DAC and WAC), performed heroically. Thus, subject to confirmation by YDL, TD finished second in the match and second in the division.  PAC results:-
