Small team did their best in WYAL 3!

A clash with the YDL UAG 3 took a number of older athletes but those who went to Aldershot all contributed valuable points and gained experience. A number of ‘new’ athletes set PBs.

Millie 5th in W1500m in British Trials

At Birmingham on July 2nd Millie Courtney ran in the W1500 final, with the first two qualifying for the World Championships in London next month. Her time, in a tactical race, was 4-10.16.

SWAL 3 in Exeter on July 2nd

We took a strong team to this third big match. We wait to see the team results. Two new members set the pattern for the rest: Emily C was tripped (and damaged her ankle) in the u15G 4×300 but still finished her leg of the race; Louis B won his heat of the 100 (13.28) and was second overall, won his heat of the 200 (27.85) and won overall, and was 6th in the LJ. Quite a good start!
