Spring is in the air!
It was great to be out running again this weekend after the disappointment of many cancelled races last weekend, and we travelled far and wide to get our running fix.
QE Spring Marathon
Graham Filmer thought he’d take his marathon training up a notch by actually running a marathon and a hilly, brutal marathon it was! He completed it in a time of 4:56:06. An amazing effort Graham!
Yeovil Half Marathon
New club member James McCafferey joined Gary Tyler to fly the flag for Poole AC at the annual Yeovil Half Marathon. Amazing efforts by both runners!

London Landmarks Half Marathon
This was a brand new race this year and Barry Miller secured a spot as a 2 hour pacer at the event. We’ve heard it was a fantastic event so have already registered for the ballot for next year.

Resolution Run
A handful of hardy members completed the Stroke Association resolution runs at Moors Valley. Congratulations to Vanya Ritchie and Cheryl Struck for crossing the 10k line and to Dave Ritchie, Ian Hitching, Mark Dawson, Jason Hepple and Rona Jones for crossing the 15k line. There weren’t any times provided at the race.
March for Men
Ann Deverill and Kev Roberts took on the March for Men for Bournemouth Hospital Trust. Well done both!
National Trust 10k

Doug Cramond took on the Coniston 14 to finish 263rd in a time of 1hr 51m. Well done Doug!
